Email Communications: Appalachian Voices may contact you by email to communicate advocacy and educational messages, and other information that may be of interest to users of this site. You will always have the opportunity to opt-out of receiving future email communications from us by following the “unsubscribe” or “remove” instructions contained in emails we send you.
Security
The donation web forms used by Appalachian Voices are hosted by DemocracyInAction.org on Secure Socket Layer (SSL)/Secure Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTPS) web servers. Any information entered into Appalachian Voices donation web forms is encrypted before being sent via the internet to the processing server.
The security of any Appalachian Voices donation web form can be verified by “right clicking” inside of the form and selecting the option to open the frame in a new window or tab. A “lock” icon will appear in the lower right hand corner of the tab or window, indicating the integrity of the donation web form.
