Trees on Fire Supports Appalacian Voices Through Their Music

We are excited to announce that the band Trees on Fire, voted “Greenest Regional Band” by Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine, is donating 5% of the proceeds from their new album Organica to Appalachian Voices. Trees on Fire is partnering with Appalachian Voices in order to raise awareness about mountaintop removal coal mining and to move away from dirty energy and create a new energy future in the central and southern Appalachian states.

About the Album, ORGANICA

Trees on Fire is a Charlottesville, VA based band that uses catchy melodies and unique harmonies to create a sound all of their own. The quintet’s first full-length album Organica connects the dots between rock, dance, roots, and pop music. Recorded in Virginia and Louisiana, Organica takes listeners from the heights of the ancient Blue Ridge Mountains to the buzzing swamps and bayous of the bottom-land. The album is produced by Rob Evans, Eric Heigle, and Trees on Fire.
